2026 Laker Kickoff

We'll be kicking the fall semester off with the first annual Laker Kickoff on Friday, August 28 from 6 to 11 p.m. Our newest students will join fellow Lakers and their living communities in Lubbers Stadium at 6 p.m. to start off the evening with a pre-party featuring the Laker Marching Band, special performances, a welcome from President Mantella, and the 2026 class photo! This will be followed by a lawn party you won't want to miss over at the Kirkhof Center by the Cook Carillon Clocktower. This event will include fun activities, a DJ, carnival games, food options, and more. You'll want to stick around for the drone and fireworks show at 9:15 p.m. to really start off the fall semester with a bang! We'll see you there, Lakers!
