Planning to apply for graduate or professional study? Preparing for a Fulbright or Peace Corps application? Join me for a mini-seminar on "Making Meaning: Mindfulness and Telling the/a Story of Self" a Friday afternoon virtual seminar to help you develop ideas and content for academic/fellowship applications (with a focus on the key elements: commitments, character, leadership, aspiration, and ambition), with time over the weekend for journaling and reflection before individual, personalized follow up meetings the next week. The end product of the seminar should be a collection of short essays (germinating seeds for future application essays) and a treasure-trove of ideas for distinctive, memorable personal statements.
Facilitated by B. Tooley, Center for Undergraduate Scholar Engagement and presented by the Frederik Meijer Office of Fellowships.
