Often, high school sex ed leaves out LGBTQ+ people's experiences and identities entirely.
Join our WIT Peer Educators as they talk openly about gender, sexuality, affirming language, barrier methods, how to prepare for a sexual health clinic visit and more.
Recreation & Wellness is partnering with the Center for Women and Gender Equity, the GV Family Health Center, the Ottawa County Department of Public Health and the Kent County Health Department to provide a fun-filled week sharing sexual health education with GVSU students. The planning committee is student-led with student wants and needs in mind.
