Join us for a special workshop and presentation by Nathan Baker. Nate will demonstrate how to use AI tools to find the perfect match between your skills and a company's needs. Streamline your job or internship search, strategically connect with recruiters, and stand out from the crowd.

What should I bring to this workshop?
A digital copy of your resume. A device (preferably a laptop) with access to ChatGPT or another preferred AI tool. If applicable, a list of companies you're interested in working for.
What will we do at this workshop?
Use AI tools to efficiently build and tailor resumes for specific job opportunities. Practice prompt engineering and leverage a library of prompts to filter and customize your job search. Learn how to use AI as a strategic partner to align your skills with company needs.
What will I get out of this workshop?
An updated, customized resume. A prioritized list of companies you should be targeting when attending a forthcoming career fair or networking event. Practical knowledge of prompt engineering and how to integrate AI tools into professional and life workflows.
Our Presenter
Nathan Baker is a Grand Rapids native who studied at the University of Michigan, following his time at City High School. His professional background includes roles at companies such as Citibank and Microsoft; most recently he worked as a Generative AI Research and Developer at Veterans United. Nathan specializes in creating and automating workflows, and he leverages tools like ChatGPT to research markets, optimize job applications, and utilize prompt engineering to maximize efficiency in the job search process. He is currently moving back to Grand Rapids, eager to plug his experience and knowledge back into the community.
