Are you interested in studying abroad on the GVSU Ghana Social Work program? Attend this upcoming information session! 

Accra, Ghana - This program aims to prepare students as competent social work practitioners in both domestic and international arenas of social welfare; enhancing student understanding of civic and global responsibility through a new cultural lens. Experience the diverse culture of Ghana through service learning and visits to local villages, historic slave castles, Kankum National Park, markets, drumming and dancing performances, and more
 

Dates 
May 05 - May 19, 2024 

Courses 
Students will register for a total of 3 credits:

UNDERGRADUATE:
SW 354: International Service (3 credits)
Fulfills General Education Global Perspectives requirement. Fulfills (1) General Education Issues course requirement. Reflection required.

GRADUATE:
SW 630: Social Work Global Service Learning (3 credits)

Language of instruction: English
