Faculty, Students
This session will introduce students to the ins and outs of undergraduate research. We will discuss what undergraduate university research is (and isn’t), what you can expect from a variety of research experiences, and how to find a research program and a mentor. The session is open to all students interested in research and creative scholarship, and will include time for questions.
* These workshops are intended for first-year undergraduates and first-year transfer students who are new to research, but all undergraduates are welcome to attend.
Facilitated by Dr. Anna Hammersmith (Sociology) and presented by the Office of Undergraduate Research and Scholarship (OURS).
