Info Sessions

Are you interested in teaching English abroad? If so, join us to learn more!

The Office of Fellowships is conducting an informational about fellowships that support the experience of teaching abroad: The Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme (JET), English Program in Korea (EPIK), Teaching Assistant Program in France (TAPIF), US Teaching Assistantships at Austrian Secondary Schools (USTA), and many more! Please consider attending this event because fellowship-sponsored experiences like these open doors for future careers - they are great experiences in themselves and will stand out on your resume and broaden your cultural humility and intercultural skills.

Are you interested in studying, researching, or teaching abroad? Curious about support for graduate study in the US? Seeking opportunities for competitive, prestigious internships in Washington DC and elsewhere? Join us for Thursday afternoon Virtual Information Sessions available through the summer, led by the GVSU Office of Fellowships. During these sessions you will learn about fellowship opportunities such as the Fulbright US Student programs (English Teaching Assistantships and Study/Research Abroad), the Critical Language Scholarship, graduate support through the Pickering, Payne and Rangel Fellowships, the Goldwater Scholarship for STEM students, the Boren Awards for intensive language study, and more. The first session will be held May 13th. Please go to gvsu.edu/fellowships to RSVP for the upcoming sessions!
