Summer Info Sessions

Join us to learn more about these outstanding, prestigious opportunities to immerse yourself in languages of critical need to the United States through summer or summer+fall programs. These are distinctive experiences - great opportunities in themselves as well as gateways to further awards (CLS is a notable 'feeder' experience for successful Fulbright applicants) and careers in federal service (the Boren Awards, in particular, are career-formative awards for students interested in intelligence and security fields within U.S. agencies and departments).

Are you interested in studying, researching, or teaching abroad? Curious about support for graduate study in the US? Seeking opportunities for competitive, prestigious internships in Washington DC and elsewhere? Join us for Thursday afternoon Virtual Information Sessions available through the summer, led by the GVSU Office of Fellowships. During these sessions you will learn about fellowship opportunities such as the Fulbright US Student programs (English Teaching Assistantships and Study/Research Abroad), the Critical Language Scholarship, graduate support through the Pickering, Payne and Rangel Fellowships, the Goldwater Scholarship for STEM students, the Boren Awards for intensive language study, and more. The first session will be held May 13th. Please go to gvsu.edu/fellowships to RSVP for the upcoming sessions!
