Join us as we recognize Grand Valley’s students, faculty, and staff who serve(d) in any branch of the United States Armed Forces or the National Guard.

SPECIAL GUEST: FIRST SERGEANT (RET) MATT EVERSMANN

First Sergeant Eversmann personifies the qualities of duty, courage, and selfless service to succeed when ordinary circumstances become extraordinary challenges. Hear his inspiring story of survival immortalized in the epic film, Black Hawk Down. For his actions on the battlefield, he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal with valor device.
