Are you interested in studying abroad in the Dominican Republic and gaining international experience in your Movement Science/BMS, or Pre-professional Health major? Come to this information session with the program director! There you will learn more about this program, excursions, housing, funding options, and more!

About the Program:

This program takes place in Santiago, the second largest city in the Dominican Republic with almost 1 million people. The program is designed to prepare Movement Science, BMS and Pre-Professional Health majors to work with diverse populations by introducing students to the culture and education of one of the most beautiful countries in the Caribbean. It will combine lectures with visits to a physical therapy clinic, and an exercise/sport facility that will allow students to experience health professionals and the use of Kinesiology in the Dominican Republic.  Students will stay with host families to deepen their cultural immersion. Previous experience in Spanish is not required since most families speak some English.
