Choral Ensemble Auditions (OPEN TO ALL GVSU STUDENTS)

The Department of Music, Theatre, and Dance invites all GVSU students to audition for our choral ensembles! All of our ensembles rehearse during a scheduled class worth 1 credit.
Auditions will be held in-person on Friday, August 27 and Monday, August 30 in the Haas Center for Performing Arts. The audition will involve a warm up to determine the student’s range, a student performance (any art song you know - if you don’t have one prepared you may sing “America” (My Country ’tis of Thee) in any key you prefer), and a brief sight reading exercise. Students should bring a copy of their musical selection (unless you’re singing “America”).
