black, white, yellow, and orange graphic with zig-zag running through the bottom half of the image, text reads, "celebrate people's history, live from the gallery, thurs. 1pm, @gvsuart"

Visit the Celebrate People's History exhibition virtually on Instagram LIVE every Thursday at 1pm. We'll introduce the exhibition and highlight some of our favorite posters. This week we welcome Josh MacPhee, creator and curator of the Celebrate People's History poster project. Josh will discuss the project's origins and some of his favorite posters!

Rooted in the do-it-yourself tradition of mass-produced and distributed political propaganda, the Celebrate People’s History poster series seeks to generate a diverse collection that brings to life successful moments in the history of social justice struggles.
