Alex Sherman (Our Flag Means Death, People of Earth) an established TV Show writer from Los Angeles, will visit campus for three days, participating in classroom visits and leading group workshops, to bring his years of experience and wisdom in the film industry, specifically writing for HBO, the Sci Fi Network, and Amazon Studios.
Workshop 1: BREAKING IN: How Alex found success in Hollywood and the Los Angeles film industry. Tuesday February 11, 7-8pm
Workshop 2: TRUST THE PROCESS - Writing for TV. The process of getting staffed and how a writer's room works. Wednesday February 12, 7-8pm
PRODUCTION AND COLLABORATION - Working with other departments from a writer/producer POV. Thursday February 13, 7-8pm
Networking Event will follow each workshop from 8-9pm
