I am a retired public school teacher (K-8) of over 30 years experience. During my career in the public school, I was a classroom teacher and a math/science instructional specialist. I was a mentor teacher to GVSU student apprentices and interns, and to non-tenured teachers in my building. I was actively involved in school improvement and leadership teams. After retirement, I worked for a few years as a Title 1 interventionist. I am currently working with preservice teachers, supporting their journey as they prepare to enter their careers in education. I am passionate about teaching and learning, and truly love what I am doing.
