AACRAO Digital Credentials Community: Credential Chats
Closing out February 2024, the NextEd Co-Lab had the opportunity to be featured on Credential Chats hosted by Noah Geisel and sponsored by the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers. These weekly chats are brief, 15-minute sessions designed to share what professionals across the country know and offer a chance to discuss questions relating to digital credentials.
During our session, learn about our backward design approach, our approach to collaboration, and the value of having executive level support for our project.
Credentials Are Credentials: Previewing the Innovative Credentials Track at the 2024 AACRAO Annual Meeting
In April 2024, the NextEd Co-Lab had the opportunity to speak to our presentation on our digital credential wallet at the 2024 AACRAO Annual Meeting which featured an Innovative Credentials track. This webinar highlighted sessions exploring the present and future of leveraging records to enable both learning mobility and learner mobility. AACRAO recognizes their members' role in ensuring validity and trust of official learning records, including transcripts as well as other formal institutional recognitions of learning and achievement, but also know "a credential is a credential".
