GVSU/GRPS Mentoring Program Information Session

Description
Grand Valley State University (GVSU) College of Education (COE) has partnered with Grand Rapids Public Schools (GRPS) to provide an ongoing mentoring program to 1st year Certified GVSU/COE Graduates who seek to teach in Urban Centers. This specialized training by the COE will provide a full year of teacher assisting and student teaching placement in GRPS. Working with highly effective teachers within the same classroom, student educators will receive ongoing training, support, and mentoring throughout their first year of teaching, all led by GVSU faculty. Discover how to join the program at one of the information session offered on Tuesday, February 23rd, 2016. Both information sessions will cover the same material:
- 12:00pm to 1:00pm in DeVos Center, 107D- Classroom
- 4:00pm to 5:00pm in DeVos Center, 323E- Classroom
