WHAT IS THE CIVIC ENGAGEMENT SHOWCASE?

 

 

The 2023 Civic Engagement Showcase is a "strolling fair" celebration of the many civic and community partnerships, programs, and initiatives happening at GVSU.

We will also be holding the premiere of Climate Sisu, an inspiring documentary about climate change solutions and community resiliency, immediately following the showcase.


WHY HAVE THE CIVIC ENGAGMENT SHOWCASE?

 

 

We will recognize, highlight, share, and inform each other about the important engagement work and civic issues we are doing something about at GVSU.


WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

 

 

All current GVSU faculty, students (graduate and undergraduate), and staff can participate in the Civic Engagement Showcase. We also encourage you to invite your community partners to join in the celebration with us.


HOW DO I SUBMIT?

 

 

You can submit proposal to participate using this qualtrics form

We encourage all interested participants to register as soon as possible or before March 3rd, space for presenters will be assigned on a rolling basis.


WHEN IS IT?

 

 

The event will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2023, from 4:00-7:30 pm on the downtown Pew Campus in the Hager-Lubbers Exhibition Hall, just outside Loosemore Auditorium.

The premiere for Climate Sisu will begin at 7:30 PM immediately following the showcase at Loosemore Auditorium.
