Students attend leadership institute

The Alpha Kappa Psi Business Fraternity students at GVSU had the opportunity to attend the Principled Business Leadership Institute held in Atlanta, GA.  The premise of this institute is to bring students and alumni together to interact with top professionals in the business industry and for attendees to gain insight on the necessary industry-related skills and develop a leadership development plan.

Here are a few comments from some of the GVSU students:

At this conference, I was split off into different sessions that allowed me to brainstorm and gain new knowledge on how to make my organization better.  During that time, it allowed me to connect with other Brothers from different regions, and gain knowledge of different resources that would also help me during my undergrad, as well as after earning my degree. - Shykela Perry

PBLI was an experience that I will never forget! I learned so much personally and professionally that could help my chapter as well. - Anaiya Bowen

I found the Principled Business Institute to be a very beneficial experience. Not only did I enjoy it because it was my first time attending and meeting Brothers from other chapters, but I was also able to attend seminars that provided me with information that is applicable to myself as a young professional and as an active brother operating in the Psi Xi chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi. - Jerria Brown
