Earning an advanced degree moved MPA alumna upward in her career
To Shannon Cohen, ‘00 & ‘11, earning an advanced degree meant moving upward in her career. GVSU’s MPA program helped her cultivate meaningful relationships and develop strong leadership skills.
Cohen, is founder and CEO of her own company and inspires others throughout Michigan with her writing and speaking engagements.
She states, "Education has always been like Miracle Grow for my mind; it has always been a tool that I have used to stay sharp, to stay innovative, and to stay creative and to solve problems".
