Summer Institute

As discussed at the November 30 Unit Head Meeting, we will be asking unit heads (or their delegates) to submit a form for unit-level teams to apply for the inaugural Summer Institute. This institute will take place on April 30, May 1, and 2, as well as June 6 and 27 (22 hours per person of paid work) and unit/program teams may apply for 25, 50, or 75 hours per person of additional work to be funded, depending on unit-level plans.

We recommend teams of 3, two faculty and the unit head. However, we recognize that each unit has different needs relative to aligning their courses and programs to the Voyage. Exceptions to the recommended number may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Our priorities when deciding how to fund applications include:  1) each unit participates, 2) as many majors as possible participate, 3) that teams proposing to create or revise courses that will run in Fall 2024/Winter 2025 participate.

The application has closed. Institute participants have been emailed - if you haven't received an email and calendar invitation, please contact CCEL.
