LAT 352 - Roman Poetry
An introduction to Roman poetry other than epic through a close reading of works such as the comedies of Plautus or Terence; the love poetry of Tibullus, Catullus, Propertius, or Ovid; the lyric poetry of Horace; amd the minor poetry of Ovid, Martial, or Juvenal. May be repeated for credit when topics vary. Offered winter semester in alternating, even-numbered years. Prerequisite: One 300-level Latin course.
