JBM 316 - News Design and Layout
Students will learn the fundamentals of print and digital design, Web and mobile coding, and data visualization as they pertain to journalistic practice. Students complete individual training modules on software, learn about current industry practice and propose and execute a final project that involves journalistic reporting and technical production. Offered fall and winter semesters. Prerequisite: JBM 256 or permission of instructor.
