Badge in Mobile Application Fundamentals

The School of Computing's mobile application fundamentals badge (not a degree or certificate) is designed to prepare students to

  • build a fully functional mobile app to accomplish tasks that include the following:
  • demonstrate programming proficiency on a conventional mobile application software stack
  • apply underlying fundamentals of mobile application development; and
  • analyze mobile app use case scenarios and create design wireframes.

Requirements

Admission

Completion of a bachelor's degree and evidence of basic object-oriented programming skills, knowledge of databases, and basic understanding of computer networking are required for admission.

Program Location

The badge is offered on the Pew Grand Rapids Campus in downtown Grand Rapids, MI.

The badge comprises one course (three credits).
