SLP 571 - Voice Disorders and Laryngectomy
This course is a theoretical and applied study of the diagnosis and treatment of voice disorders including laryngectomy. This course includes the functional and organic disorders of voice, diagnostic procedures including clinical evaluation and standardized assessments, interviewing and counseling principles, and voice therapy techniques for children and adults. Offered winter and spring/summer semesters. Prerequisite: Successful completion of all previously required courses in the SLP curricular sequence.
