MLS 450 - Clinical Practicum I

The first of two full-time medical experiences. Practicing medical laboratory scientists will supervise and teach students in basic laboratory procedures, including urinalysis, immunoserology, hematology, and medical chemistry. The students will be exposed to patients and usual workload in the hospital laboratory. Offered fall semester. Prerequisite: MLS 320. Corequisites: MLS 372, MLS 410, M LS 422, BMS 416, and BMS 417.
