EGR 301 - Analytical Tools for Product Design

Analytic methods in product design are integrated into a coherent design process that includes: gathering customer requirements, establishing specifications, generating alternative concepts, estimating feasibility, concept selection, embodiment design, design refinement, prototyping, and project planning. Offered fall semester. Prerequisites: EGR 250, EGR 345 (may be taken concurrently), and admitted to interdisciplinary or product design and manufacturing engineering major.
