CSD 304 - Phonetics

This course will examine the use of the International Phonetic Alphabet symbols and phonetic theory in analyzing, categorizing, and transcribing the sounds of the world's languages, focusing on American English, its various dialects, and speech sound disorders. Offered fall semester. Prerequisite: Admission to the C.S.D. major.
