History of the computing profession. Local and global impacts of computing technology on individuals, organizations and society. Professional ethics and responsibilities. Personal privacy, security and legal issues. Preparation for an internship in the computing field. Offered fall and winter semesters. Prerequisite: Admitted to CIS major.
