CHM 325 - Instrumental Analysis

The theory and application of advanced analytical instrumentation. Emphasis is given to sample preparation methodology, liquid and gas chromatography, capillary electrophoresis, atomic spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, voltammetry, and writing instruction. The laboratory experience focuses on practical utilization of analytical techniques. Three hours of lecture and three hours of lab per week. Offered winter semester. Prerequisites: CHM 221 or CHM 222; WRT 150 with a grade of C or better.
