RIT 334 - Simulations in Radiation Therapy

Students will encounter and simulate common situations and issues that arise in the delivery of radiation therapy to patients. Topics include patient needs in the therapy process, patient communication, family interactions, patient interactions and professional behavior, and appropriate use of treatment devices with simulated patient situations. Offered winter semester. Prerequisite: Admission to the radiation therapy major or to the predosimetry emphasis program.
