HNR 261 - Alliance and Conflict: World Construction in Religion and Society

This course focuses on post 16th century trends, conservative and liberal, in monotheism as well as other religious influences on social-political intergroup relations (tolerance and intolerance). This course will also cover religious art and iconography as a form of social-political commentary and protest in the Western world. Fulfills Foundation - Arts. Course offered winter semester. Prerequisite: HNR 260. Corequisite: HNR 262.
