GEO 310 - Plate Tectonics
An upper-level course that explores the fundamental science behind plate tectonics, geology's major paradigm. Investigates the evolution and development of the thoughts and technology that led to this relatively new (1960s) breakthrough, how plate tectonics is tested, and the predictions that it makes. (3-0-0). Prerequisite: Completion of Foundation - Physical Sciences or Life Sciences general education requirement.
