Why did you choose GVSU?

GVSU’s computing program stood out to me because of how hands-on it is. I wanted a place that would push me to build real applications, not just study theory, and that's what I've found here.

What made you want to join Blue Nucleus?

I originally wanted to join Blue Nucleus to get experience in the tech industry and learn how to function in a tech environment. I’ve stayed because I feel like I am making a genuine impact on the real world.

What has been your favorite experience in the program so far?

My favorite experience at Blue Nucleus has been getting to know everyone. I’ve especially enjoyed working with Todd and Tommy. Collaborating with them is always the highlight of my day.

What is your goal after Graduating?

My goal is to find a role where thinking differently isn't just tolerated, it's the standard. Whether that's in AI development or something I haven't encountered yet, I want to be somewhere my unconventional approach is valuable.

Favorite Hobbies and Interest:

My main hobbies are playing video games and making technical Minecraft videos, but I have been getting into writing the worst code possible.

Are you a part of any clubs or RSO’s? If so, what got you started with it?

I am a member of the Computing Club and the Hackers Analyzing Threats Club.

Fun Fact(s):

  • I won the 2025 International Obfuscated Python Code Contest, which is a competition to write the worst Python Code Imaginable to accomplish a task.
  • Preferred OS: I prefer Windows, but I aspire to build my own TempleOS to use.
  • Early Bird vs Night Owl: I’m a night owl. I prefer working on things when the sun is down, with only the crickets and my keyboard for company.
  • Describe Blue Nucleus in One Word: Motivational
