Artificial Unintelligence -- March 26

Meredith Broussard, author of Artificial Unintelligence, will be presenting a public lecture on Tuesday, March 26, 1-2 p.m., in the Pere Marquette Room.

From the book sleeve:  "Making the case against technochauvinism -- the belief that technology is always the solution -- Broussard argues that it's just not true that social problems would inevitably retreat before a digitally enabled Utopia."

Broussard is an Assistant Professor at the Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute of New York University.

This event is organized by GVSU's Big Data Initiative.
