I acknowledge which individuals are required to hold a current certification in CPR and First Aid and that they may be relied upon to respond in the event of an emergency.
I acknowledge that with the absence of an athletic trainer on-site a coach is to assume responsibility of providing immediate care to the injured.
I acknowledge that it is the responsibility of Emergency Management Team members to know where the nearest AED is located at each venue.
I acknowledge that in the event of construction an alternative route will be established and communicated with all necessary parties. Furthermore, I acknowledge that last minute venue and/or time changes could have a negative impact on emergency response
I acknowledge that when a catastrophic incident occurs a member of the Critical Incident Management Team (CIMT) for Athletics needs to be notified as soon as possible.
