Catastrophic Injury

This training has been assigned to coaches (responsible for supervising CARA), sports performance coaches, athletic trainers and sport supervisors.
This video will cover the most common catastrophic injuries as outlined by the NCAA Recommendations for Preventing Catastrophic Injury and Death in Collegiate Athletes. It will also review the basic policies related to mental health emergencies, periodization, environmental heat and humidity monitoring and lightning.
At the conclusion of this training, you are required to review the NCAA Checklist for Preventing Catastrophic Injury and Death in Collegiate Athletes
