MoneySmart Athletes: Season Starts Soon!
Next semester, we're helping Lakers build winning financial habits- on and off the field!
Through 5 sessions (4 quarters + Overtime), student-athletes will learn the skills to: Understand money basics, manage spending and saving, plan for taxes, and invest for the future
Being a CHAMP means more than what you do in competition, its about Choosing Habits and Actions with Money for Planning and Success
Career Fair Prep and Resume Review 2.16.26 6pm MAN 102
Monday, 2/16 from 6-8PM in MAN 102, join Student-Athlete Development and the Laker Academic Success Center for a casual, drop‑in Career Fair Prep Workshop designed to help student-athletes gain confidence in their job hunt. This drop-in event features multiple stations that students can visit at their own pace, allowing them to focus on the areas they need most.
Students will have the opportunity to:
Take professional headshots
Review your resume with the Career Center
Build or refine a Career Fair elevator pitch
Receive LinkedIn support
Learn how to tie a tie and practice a strong handshake
Answer Career Fair questions
Please arrive prepared with:
A completed written resume ready for review
Professional attire suitable for your headshot
Whether you're preparing for your first career fair or simply want to polish your professional presence, this workshop offers flexible, hands‑on support to help you make a strong impression.
