Our programming, including the Laker Impact Series, offers workshops in leadership, career readiness, financial literacy, and mental wellness. We also host the Laker Legacy Mentorship Program.

L.I.F.E. stands for Leadership, Identity, Financial Literacy, and Empowerment. These four pillars shape every program and opportunity we provide, ensuring student-athletes leave GVSU prepared for life after sport.

The office is led by Dr D.F. Arnold (Associate Athletic Director for Student-Athlete Engagement and Development) and Sara Corman (Director of Student-Athlete Experience). Together, they work to provide holistic and meaningful programming for all Lakers.

Alumni can serve as mentors in our Laker Legacy program, guest speakers, or partners in programming. Opportunities to get involved will be shared through GVSU Athletics and the Laker Alumni networks.
