2021 Selections from fishladder - A Student Journal of Art and Writing

fishladder is a student-run journal of art and writing edited and produced by undergraduates at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan. The journal is published annually in April, on the tail end of Winter Semester and features fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and visual art by GVSU students. As a publication, it strives to be inclusive of writers and artists from all the different parts of our campus community. It hopes to present a diverse mix of singular voices in each issue so that it might capture the voices of the GVSU student body in all its harmony and dissonance.

This exhibition presents a selection of visual and written works of art from the publication. It is hosted in conjunction with Student Scholars Day (SSD), an event celebrating the scholarship, research, and creative work performed by GVSU students from the past year. This year, SSD will be hosted virtually with recorded presentations available from April 12 – April 26 and a live presentation on April 14.
