LAKERS TOGETHER: Grand Valley is preparing for successful learning experiences when classes resume on Aug. 31. Learn more about the plan for fall in this handbook.
There are many field school opportunities available, both locally and abroad.
Every other summer, GVSU's local field school, ANT 307, offers you the chance to work on a variety of sites near our campus. The Archaeology faculty also work on numerous other projects and involve GVSU students; check with Archaeology faculty and contributing departments for information about current opportunities.
The Archaeological Institute of America's Field Opportunities Bulletin is also a good place to start your search. Unlike some "dig" clearing-houses you may find on the web, the programs in the Bulletin have been evaluated by professionals to insure a high-quality educational experience.
