Find Your Accommodation Memo

Hello, everyone. In this video, we'll be
showing you how to sign your accommodation memo and also how to prints
the accommodation memo. Once your accommodations have been approved by
your student accessibility resources advisor, you would receive an
email that states that it has been approved and your accommodation
memo has been generated.

Sometimes you'll be required to sign the
memo as well. So from the email, you can click on the on link that
takes you to the accommodation system where you're able to download
and sign your letters. However, in this video, I'll be showing you how
to access your letter

resources website. From the website click on the accommodation memo
request once you click on it, it will take you to the system that we
currently use to manage student accommodations.

Then first you'll be required to select
the type of user if you're a student to select student. Once you
select students you would be required to log in with your student
information. Then after logging in, the home page will be displayed
from the home page you click on

will bring you to the letters page.

bottom, you'll see the option to sign.

name as a way to sign and to acknowledge that I have received the
accommodation letter.

Usually you're advised to go over the
letter before signing to be sure that you got the right accommodations

reviewed, you click on save. Once it's saved, it shows that your

And you can open the letter again and

PDF, a PDF document would be downloaded.

How to Submit a Semester Request

video. In this video, we would walk through how to submit a semester request.

In accommodate. At the beginning of each
semester or towards the beginning of a semester you would receive an
email from the office, from the Student Accessibility Office.

And the subject of the email will be
something similar to accommodation renewal for the selected semester.

The email would specify the steps you

In the email, you'll notice that the
first step is to log in to accommodate.

So to do that you would click on the
accommodate link in the email. Once you click on the link, you will
need to select the type of user.

So we have two options, either student or
faculty As a student you'll select the student option, and then it
will bring you to the home page.

From the home page you would select the
accommodation menu and select the semester request submenu.

submenu, you'd click add new. Then you have to select the semester
that you are submitting a semester request for.

From the dropdown, you will see the
available semesters, I'll be submitting a semester request for winter 2025.

So I'd select winter 2025. After
selecting Winter 2025, you have two options.

accommodations" or to "review the renewal" options.

The major difference is if you click

accommodations that you have gotten from our office.

accommodations. Once your semester request has been submitted, a text

accessibility advisor using Navigate. There are different ways to
schedule an appointment.

submit documentations. To do that you go to the accommodate homepage
which is the same system that you use to request accommodations to

that you have received from the Student Accessibility Resources Office.

Once you select pending document, you
click add new you would give your file. your document a label. In this
case, I'm going to use IEP plan, and then you select the document

a documentation from prior institution if you are a transfer student
