Both funny and enlightening, Dr. Guy McPherson offers his expert insights into the serious issues surrounding sustainability during a free lecture on Wednesday, Feb. 15, at 7 p.m. on the Muskegon Community College campus.
Wednesday, Feb. 15th 1-3pm, Commons & Laker Village Dumpsters
Volunteers are needed for the GVSU Dumpster Dive that will be happening on February 20th from 1-3pm. We will be dumping out all of the trash from the dumpster at the commons and also in Lot H ( Laker Village). We will then sort through the trash to determine what could have been recycled or composted in an effort to reduce our landfill footprint. Should be a fun Day. Think about Volunteering! The Western Michigan workshop is sponsored by the Michigan Alternative & Renewable Energy Center (MAREC) at Grand Valley State University.
