Grand Valley State has been educating PA graduates for more than 10 years now. We are dedicated and excited about producing PAs for the 21st century who are committed to being the very best clinicians possible. Our learning environment is state-of-the-art involving electronic classrooms, simulation laboratories, digital video feedback technology and medical informatics. With a totally revamped curriculum which was developed after extensive state and national benchmarking, this program offers a high quality education through instruction from very dedicated faculty members. Though our tools for instruction are considered high tech we have a balanced curriculum that places emphasis on the art of medicine with special attention to communication, ethics and the behavioral sciences. Evidence-based medicine is at the heart of our educational philosophy. We are preparing PAs not only to be scientific in their approach to patient care, but more importantly, how to keep abreast of the latest therapeutics, medical technologies and fast paced research applications. The Grand Valley PA faculty educate the best PAs in the country who are not only superb clinicians, but who are dedicated to life-long learning.
