My Banner

The My Banner system is what you will utilize for many university related tasks.  For financial aid purposes this is where your award information is held.  Instructions for accepting your award can be found here.   You can also watch the video tutorial that shows you click-by-click how to navigate the Financial Aid area (coming soon).

The My Banner system also has the information for:

• Records
• Student Accounts
• Housing
• Your Personal Information
• Degree Analysis

It is very important for you to keep your phone number, email address, and mailing addresses current.  The majority of departments at Grand Valley utilize the preferred email address listed in Your Personal Information. 

Parent Access

If you want your parent(s) to receive information from Grand Valley you can list a parent email address as well.  You must give your Banner G# and password in order for your parents to have access to your My Banner.  Grand Valley does not have a separate sign in for your parents.
