1. Changes are coming to CLAS Weekly
Thanks to everyone who participated in the CLAS Weekly survey. It provided us with a lot of great insight into your informational needs. Starting in June, you will see some changes to the weekly mailing. This includes a new format, streamlined content, a submission form, and a new publication schedule. September – May, we will continue to publish weekly. June-August, we will publish every other week. Publication dates for the summer are: June 7, June 21, July 5, July 19, August 2, August 16, and August 30.
2. FREE Summer Camp for Middle School Students
GVSU is excited to offer Energizing Our World, a one-week summer camp for middle school students designed to spark interest in renewable energy. Students will have hands-on experiences with a variety of renewable energy sources and engage in activities involving solar, wind, and hydro power. The camp will be held on the Allendale campus June 26-29 and will be taught by GVSU Faculty and students. Application deadline is May 21, 2023. Use code GVSU CLAS to attend this camp for FREE (a $75 value). Enter the code in the ‘partner organization’ field.
