Scholarship Celebrates Generosity Education is one of the greatest gifts to receive. Celebrating the intersection of both sides of philanthropy, donors and scholarship recipients gathered for the 10th annual Scholarship Dinner at the Amway Grand Plaza. More than 650 people attended the event, which honored the university friends, alumni, faculty and staff members, parents and organizations involved in private scholarships at Grand Valley State University. In picture at left are David and Joyce Hecht, representing the Joyce Hecht Distinguished Scholarship in Philanthropy, along with CCPS Dean, Dr. George Grant, scholarship recipients, family, and friends.
