Housekeeping in the Hydrosphere: Review published in the journal Life

What started off as a class essay and presentation by former Biddanda Lab member Deb Dila for Bopi's aquatic microbial ecology class, has finally found a place in the journal Life. Along the way, friends and colleagues from Spain, as well as more Biddanda lab members past and current, joined to contribute to the manuscript, enriching it with individual knowledge and talent.
The review relates the activities of viruses, bacteria, phytoplankton, plankton, etc. to your everyday household duties of cooking, cleaning, etc. keeping non-experts and experts in mind.
The paper is open access, and freely available to all here
