Jasmine Mancuso Defends Thesis

Today, Jasmine Mancuso, a graduate student in the Biddanda Lab, successfully defended her Master's thesis.
She analyzed the drivers of cyanobacterial blooms on Muskegon Lake since 2003, showing the improvement in harmful algal blooms on the lake, as well as taking a close look at her fieldwork data from 2019, which was an anomalous year with record rainfall and relatively cool temperatures and seems to have promoted the dominance of diatoms throughout the year.
