Dave came to Grand Valley’s University Communications office in 2016 after 32 years as a photojournalist with local ABC affiliate WZZM 13, and serves as a videographer and editor. He also is part of the Grand Valley Sports Network broadcast crew. 

He lives in Rockford with his wife Tammy, who is a first-grade teacher. They have two sons. Sam, his oldest son, is a speech pathologist; Josh, his youngest, is finishing a degree in psychology and will be attending graduate school in Cambridge, England.
