Welcome to TRIO Upward Bound Math Science Wyoming!

We're glad you're here.

The GVSU TRIO Upward Bound Math Science (UBMS)  Wyoming program is designed to assist high school students from traditionally underserved backgrounds reach their potential by earning a college degree. UBMS serves high school students from low-income families and who are first-generation college students (their parents did not graduate from college with a bachelor's degree), and primarily supports students at Lee High School and Kelloggsville High School.

UBMS aims to strengthen academic preparedness in math, science, and technology. UBMS assists students in a rigorous math and science curriculum in high school to encourage and enable them to successfully major in critically important science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) disciplines in college. UBMS provides intensive intervention that provides access and prepares students for higher education through instruction in literature, composition, and foreign language.

We're here to help students build the academic skills, motivation, and self-confidence they need for success in a college setting. How do we do this? We do this by providing fundamental support to participants in their preparation for college entrance, including a variety of services.

UBMS Wyoming provides opportunities for participants to succeed in their high school performance, and ultimately in their higher education pursuits. What are you waiting for?
